Vivint takes home customer service awards

Vivint Smart Home announced that it has won four Stevie Awards from the 2017 American Business Awards.

Vivint received the following awards at a gala in New York City:

Customer Service Executive of the Year (Gold)
Norm Nelson, senior director of customer experience at Vivint, won the top honour in this category.

Corporate Social Responsibility Program of the Year (Silver)
Through its philanthropic arm, Vivint focuses on helping families of children with autism and other intellectual disabilities. The company encourages employees to contribute time, money and talents to various community service projects. In 2016, Vivint employees donated more than 15,000 volunteer hours of service and raised more than US$2 million toward causes that make a meaningful impact for children with intellectual disabilities.

Customer Service Team of the Year (Bronze)
The Vivint Customer Service Management team leads more than 1,200 customer service agents and more than 60 supervisors, assistant managers, and project specialists. The team launched a successful work-from-home program and introduced a gamification initiative for agents that led to a 20 per cent increase in productivity.

Customer Service Department of the Year (Bronze)
In one year, the Vivint Executive Resolutions team increased customer satisfaction 25 per cent as measured by a transactional Net Promoter Score.

More than 190 professionals worldwide participated in the judging process to select this year’s Stevie Award winners from more than 3,600 nominations from organizations of all sizes and in virtually every industry.
